This hand-blown art glass hummingbird feeder is as attractive as it is functional. Comes with a copper feeder tube with a unique decorative flower tip in red to attract hummingbirds. Measures 4.25 x 7 inches.
To make your own hummingbird nectar, add 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Boil this solution for a few minutes. Then cool before adding to feeder. The left-over solution can be stored in the refrigerator. This solution will ferment rather quickly outide, so be sure to replace this solution at least once per week. For best results, place feeder in shady spot rather than in direct sunlight. DO NOT use red dye in the solution. If you have a different feeder that has no red on it, just tie a red bow on the feeder somewhere. Hummingbirds simply look for red when hunting for nectar.
