We are an online store only; we have no retail locations

Except as noted for individual items, The Nature Store ships products via the United States Postal Service.  We ship out of Southeastern Pennsylvania. 

Standard shipments are shipped via Priority Mail or Parcel Select.  Standard shipping is usually 2-4 days for delivery.  Orders for in-stock items will ship within 1-2 business days.  We ship Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.  Standard shipping times are not guaranteed. 

Expedited shipments are shipped via Express Mail or best method.  Expedited shipping is 1-2 days for delivery (most areas 1 day, rural areas 2 days).  Orders for in-stock items received by 1 pm EST will be shipped same day.  We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday, so keep this in mind in the shipping delivery calculation.  For example, items ordered with expedited shipping Friday AFTER 1 pm EST, will not ship until Monday.

We do make every effort to ship ALL orders same day, as we pride ourselves on our speedy service!  If shipment of your order will be delayed, we will contact you by email or by phone if you do not provide an email address. 

For shipping to destinations outside the United States, you will be shown an estimate of the actual shipping charges.  We will contact you by email if actual shipping charges exceed the estimate.  International orders will ship via Priority Mail International or best method.  Transit time is approx. 6-12 days.

Items involving live butterflies or insects CANNOT be shipped outside the continental U.S.  These restrictions are imposed by law.

Your satisfaction with our products is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied, simply return it to us for credit, a full refund, or exchange. If the return is because of an error on our part or a defective item, we will pay for shipping the returned item.

Your return must meet the following conditions:
* The item must have been purchased within 30 days of return
* The item must be in original packaging
* It must be packaged well enough to prevent damage

Please include a copy of your receipt. If your purchase was paid with a credit card, a credit memo for that amount will be issued to your credit card company. If paid by check, a refund check will be sent to you.

Items as noted are not returnable. Such items include the Commercial Butterfly Breeders Manual.

International orders from the following countries must pay with Visa or Mastercard through our Paypal option upon checkout. We can only ship your order to the address of your Visa or Mastercard account. We will not ship to a different address.

Orders from any other countries must pay with a certified check drawn from a US bank. Payments should be sent with a copy of your invoice to:

Due to U.S. and international regulations, your package may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Additionally, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by product type. If the order is a gift, it will be marked as such, but we are still required by law to list the value of the contents.
Cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

We cannot guarantee shipping times for any international orders. We can give you an estimated time of arrival, but that is all.

Gift certificates are available in values of $25, $35, $50, $75 or $100.
